The holiday season is finally here and it’s time to start decorating. Twinkling lights, beautiful ornaments, festive décor inside and out, all add to the magic of the holiday time.

Here are some ways to reign in some festive flair into your home:

Fun with ornaments:

Indoor: Arrange metallic ornament balls of different sizes in a shallow bowl, or place them into cylinder vases. These can be used to dress up an entryway table, mantel, or used as a centerpiece in your dining room.

Outdoor: Add some charm to a plain garland with some fun ornaments, and drape it around the front porch or entryway pillars.

Indoor: A versatile accessory, perfect for this time of year. Set them up as place-card holders if you’re hosting for the holidays, use them in a variety of candle arrangements, or turn them into ornaments. With just a little spray paint, you can modify them to fit any holiday theme.

Outdoor: Pinecone wreaths add a little charisma to the outside of your home, making it that much more inviting.

Holiday lights:

Indoor: String lights around your staircase or fireplace to add a more illuminating touch to your interior. If you have a creative edge this LED light sting in a bottle DIY, is definitely something to try.

Outdoor: Make your home stand out by dressing up your trees with a mix of regular string lights and meteor shower LED string lights. They look like glistening icicles and are absolutely mesmerizing.

Home accessories:

Indoor: You can simply sprinkle some holiday joy throughout your home. Think snowflake embroidered hand towels in the guest room, or decorative pillows in the family room. Little subtle touches are enough to make your home more spirited for the holiday season.

Outdoor: Festive welcome mats, planters with winter flowers and greenery, or a grouping of lanterns, all add a delicate essence of the holidays upon entry.
