I love to cook but the most frustrating part is fumbling through my kitchen cabinet looking for the right size pot or pan and then it is even harder to find the correct lid to fit it. To fix this, I found a couple things lying around the house, or that could be found relatively inexpensively, and fixed my problem.
The first piece was a pan organizer which I found for $6.99 at a local discount retailer. I put it on the top shelf of my cabinet which allowed all of my pans to stand up on their sides and be accessible without having to shuffle through other pans.
Next problem to tackle is the lids. Using Command hooks applied to the inside of the cabinet door and hanging an office paper organizer from the hooks, I was able to sort my lids and keep them all in one place.
Finally, the bottom shelf I reserved for pots and over sized pans. As an added organization step you can add small shelves to the bottom of your cabinet for additional pots.
