Make saving fun with this cute and ultra-easy DIY Home Savings Fund Frame. It could also make a great gift for newlyweds who are saving to buy a house (especially if you fill it with money)! Using a top loading shadow/memory box makes this project very simple. And if you use a dry erase marker, then you can easily reuse it for vacations, a new baby or home improvement projects.

What you need:

  • Top loading shadow memory box – I purchased one here
  • Dry erase or permanent marker
  • A picture of your goal printed out – cut out to the size of your frame
  • Scotch tape
  • Scissors

Step 1: Unwrap the memory/shadow box and remove the backing.

Step 2: Print out and cut your image to fit the memory box background.

Step 3: Tape the picture to the back interior of the frame.

Step 4: Write your message on the glass. It’s a good idea to practice first, especially if you are using a permanent marker.

You’re done, so start saving!
